Our small holding consists of 15 acres of woodland and 85 acres of grassland adjoining Greenlee Lough, where we have the fishing rights.
In the woods, we keep free-range pedigree Wild Boar and Tamworth pigs (fully enclosed with electric fencing!).
In the fields, we keep rare breed sheep such as Jacobs, Shetlands and Herdwicks.
Around the house you will find a menagerie of free-range poultry; hens, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys and peacocks.
We try to keep our livestock within the organic philosophy. The land receives no artificial fertilizers or chemicals and veterinary treatments are a rarity and are only used when necessary for animal welfare reasons. With the help of a local butcher, we process meat from our own animals, here on the farm
