Ian & Pat. We really appreciated the warmth in a week sprinkled with sleet and east winds, but also enjoyed sitting out in the sun (breifly!)

Jack, Alexa and Zoe. Lovely cottage, had a fantastic week. Too short! Needed longer to see everything Northumberland has to offer. It may have been bitterly cold and we had a touch of snow, but this masde it even more enjoyable to come back to a snug cottage. Enjoyed Keeers Kitchen food. Great to see the red squirrel. Had a very enjoyable walk around your farm and land. Thank you.

Eddie, Ann and Betty. Delightful cottage - very well appointed and comfortable. Food from Keepers Kitchen excellent.

Look out of Keepers window
there is wildlife all around.
In the air and in the trees
but mostly on the ground.
Comfy beds, relaxing baths
the fire is nice and hot.
With snow and rain and wind outside,
we've found a cosy spot.
The views we had when the snowflakes fell
gave a perfect winter scene.
There was only one thing wrong that day
no going on the trapoline!
Well Hadrian it's not quite right
that all roads lead to Rome,
'cause one leads up to 'Bonnyrigg'
and that one feels like home.

Sally and Alan. An enchanting place: is there a better way to begin Christmas day than by watching the guinea fowl and the hens and the red squirrel. There seem to be 2 at close range, the smaller being the fiercer. And the cottage is lovely - warm, comfortable and charming in every detail. We've had a memorable week: our thanks to Dave and Jane for everything.

Sarah and Simon. A beautiful cottage! We had a fantastic and very relaxing week - with not too much rain.

Keepers Kitchen - excellent - better than a lot of meals out. You made us feel very welcome and Sophieloved seeing the newborn chicks. Look forward tocoming back - thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Ben, Hannah, Rod and Sue. Another lovely week despite an awful lot of rain. Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Attention to detail made the break perfect. Greenlee Lough boardwalk currently underwater. Many thanks to Dave and Jane.

Ben was very handy with his camera and computer and sent us this sequence of the red squirrel feeding just outside the cottage.
