Some from 2008
April 2008 Ian & Pat. We really appreciated the warmth in a week sprinkled with sleet and east winds, but also enjoyed sitting out in the sun (breifly!)
April 2008 Jack, Alexa and Zoe. Lovely cottage, had a fantastic week. Too short! Needed longer to see everything Northumberland has to offer. It may have been bitterly cold and we had a touch of snow, but this masde it even more enjoyable to come back to a snug cottage. Enjoyed Keeers Kitchen food. Great to see the red squirrel. Had a very enjoyable walk around your farm and land. Thank you.
March 2008 Eddie, Ann and Betty. Delightful cottage - very well appointed and comfortable. Food from Keepers Kitchen excellent.
Jan 2008 Steve and Sue
Look out of Keepers window
there is wildlife all around.
In the air and in the trees
but mostly on the ground.
Comfy beds, relaxing baths
the fire is nice and hot.
With snow and rain and wind outside,
we've found a cosy spot.
The views we had when the snowflakes fell
gave a perfect winter scene.
There was only one thing wrong that day
no going on the trapoline!
Well Hadrian it's not quite right
that all roads lead to Rome,
'cause one leads up to 'Bonnyrigg'
and that one feels like home.
Some from 2007
Dec 2007 Sally and Alan. An enchanting place: is there a better way to begin Christmas day than by watching the guinea fowl and the hens and the red squirrel. There seem to be 2 at close range, the smaller being the fiercer. And the cottage is lovely - warm, comfortable and charming in every detail. We've had a memorable week: our thanks to Dave and Jane for everything.
